School Sponsored Clubs and Activities
Music is so vital to our Liturgies. It helps us pray from the heart in a way that the spoken word just falls short. We have a great love for praying in song and look forward to sharing that with your children. This volunteer enrichment opportunity is open to students in Grades 5-8 and meets before school.
7th and 8th grade students are eligible to apply for the Villa Student Emergency Response Team (S.E.R.T.). Team members are trained to help support faculty and staff in responding to emergency situations, help maintain emergency supplies, and help promote health and safety awareness throughout the school. Read more about this community service opportunity on Ms. Jenner’s SERT page.
The Yarn Yodelers knitting and craft club is open for fourth and fifth-grade students to drop-in once a week during lunch recess to relax, converse, and be creative. No prior knitting or craft experience is needed to join the group, which is led by the school’s Student Life Coordinator. In addition to learning how to knit within a warm and friendly group atmosphere, club members work together on community service projects such as knitting warm headbands to donate to local homeless shelters.
