SERT:7th and 8th grade students are eligible to apply for the Villa Student Emergency Response Team (S.E.R.T.). Knitting: The Villa Academy Yarn Yodlers are a group of fourth and fifth-grade students who meet weekly during lunch recess to relax, converse, and knit. No prior knitting experience is needed to join the group, which is led by the school’s Academic Programs Assistant. In addition to learning how to knit within a warm and friendly group atmosphere, club members work together on community service projects such as knitting warm headbands to donate to local homeless shelters.
Liturgical Choir: Music is so vital to our Liturgies. It helps us pray from the heart in a way that the spoken word just falls short. I have a great love for praying in song and look forward to sharing that with your children.
This enrichment class is open to students in Grades 5-8 and meets before school.
