Summer work on the campus is well underway! If you have visited the campus since school dismissed, you will have seen that the building cleanup and window restoration projects are going well. You will also have experienced the new entry routes that have been setup to assure safety during the restoration.
We are very excited to see the work progressing so well. The windows have been removed for restoration, maintaining the classic 9 over 9 pane windows. The terracotta trim is cleaning up nicely to a wonderful shiny white that looks gorgeous against the red brick.
The Extended Day Program space is positively glowing with the new floors installed. The Summer program is being coordinated from the Rainbow Theatre during the work.
There is a lot to see; please be mindful of the signs and equipment if you come to campus. At this time we are using the doors from the playground to the theater hallway and asking people to park away from the building in order to keep the drop-off area clear for the work equipment.
Have a wonderful summer!
Welcome to new and returning students and parents! EDP has been busy since day one working on craft projects, playing games, enjoying our late summer, and diving into homework.

In order to staff appropriately it is essential, due to our licensing, that we are notified by noon of the day your child will be coming to EDP by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. We cannot accommodate drop-ins without prior notification.

For AM EDP, your child must be escorted to the Main EDP room 133 and be signed in by an adult. This is mandatory by Washington State Licensing. Children cannot sign themselves in.
EDP is a NUT FREE ZONE. Please do not bring outside food into the main EDP room 133 or the EDP homework room 125
Please contact email@example.com with any questions or if we can be of any assistance. The EDP team: Shea, Anne, Monte, & Natalie look forward to getting to know you and your children. We pride ourselves in providing a safe and fun place for your children to spend after school.
Green Team is a student-driven after-school club that explores issues of environmental stewardship, sustainability, and conservation such as food waste composting, recycling, energy use, and air quality. Students on the Green Team will participate in hands-on environmental science projects that include conducting research, gathering data, and analyzing and sharing results in order to establish lasting positive changes in our school and community. Moreover, on most days, the Green Team will work on projects that directly help serve the Villa community and thus, merit community service hours.
The Green Team is open to any students in grades 6-8 and meets regularly on Thursday afternoons immediately after school from 3:15 – 4:30 pm.
If you and your student are interested, please sign up for this trimester through the new EDP online registration site
Your child is certain to find fun, education, and inspiration during the 2010 Villa Ventures summer camp from July 6th-30th, 9:00am-4:00pm
Carefully designed for children ages 4-14, Villa Ventures offers weeklong morning and afternoon classes with an emphasis on enriching the whole child. As a summer camp, we recognize that fun is paramount, but also that the most memorable childhood experiences involve exploration of new frontiers of learning. We offer a variety of classes, including visual and performing arts, sports, science and technology, and academic enrichment, as well as special interest topics such as chess and cooking.
