Visit Campus

A visit to campus is a sure way to know if the school would be a good fit for your family. You can really get a feeling about what a school is like. We have several opportunities for you to visit our campus to learn more and experience Villa Academy.

Open Houses

Open Houses have concluded for the 2012-13 admission season. Open House usual takes place the Sunday before Thanksgiving and the first Friday following New Years.  Please check back late summer for the actual dates and times of the 2013-14 admission season.

Open Houses are a great time to tour the campus, meet our faculty and administration, and learn more about our programs. The January Open House it is held during the school day, which affords you the opportunity to visit classrooms in session and truly get a feel of what a typical school day is like.

Villa Coffees

Villa coffees are a shortened version of our Open House. We provide general information about Villa Academy and offer a tour of our school. Generally the Admission Coffees are grade/level focused events that take place the first Friday morning of the months of Oct, Nov and Dec. Please check back for actual dates, times and focus.

Tours

Villa Academy’s Admission Office offers individual tours in addition to our Open Houses and Villa Coffees. If you are interested in a private tour, please call (206) 527-9388 or contact us and we will be happy to schedule an appointment. Tours last approximately 45 minutes.

Student Visits

Student visits are part of the admission process for Grades 1-8 and are usually scheduled between December and March, once we have received an admission application. All visitors are paired with a current Villa Academy student and participate in class activities and discussions. The Admission Office will contact you directly to schedule a student visit.

From I-5 heading north or south:

1. Head north or south on Interstate 5 to Exit 169–NE 45^th Street.
2. Take Exit 169–NE 45^th Street.
3. Head East on NE 45^th Street (turn Left if coming from the North, turn Right if coming from the South). After 1 mile, you will pass the University of WA on your right hand side. 45^th Street turns into a one lane, down hill ramp and intersects Montlake Blvd E.
4. Turn left onto Montlake Blvd E / NE 45^th Street (you will see a sign for “Children’s Hospital” at this point and further ahead. The Villa is in the same direction).
5. Head East on Montlake Blvd E / NE 45^th Street. After 2 lights, NE 45^th Street breaks off from the main flow of traffic. Do not break away from the main road, but curve to the left onto Sand Point Way.
6. Continue following Sand Point Way. You will pass Children’s Hospital on your right hand side.
7. Immediately after Children’s Hospital take a right onto NE 50^th The Villa Academy entrance will be on your right at the top of the hill. (at the intersection of NE 50^th St. and 50^th Ave. NE)

From 520 heading east or west:

1. Take the Montlake Blvd Exit.
2. Merge onto Montlake Blvd and head north, crossing the bridge and passing the University on the left and the University Stadium on the right.
3. Stay in the right hand lane and, after approximately 1/2 mile, merge onto NE 45^th Street.
4. Head East on Montlake Blvd E / NE 45^th Street.
5. Curve to the left onto Sand Point Way.
6. Continue following Sand Point Way. You will pass Children’s Hospital on your right hand side.
7. Immediately after Children’s Hospital take a right onto NE 50^th The Villa Academy entrance will be on your right at the top of the hill. (at the intersection of NE 50^th St. and 50^th Ave. NE)
